Saving animal feed plants to preserve livelihoods
The ILRI Genebank, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is part of an international network of low-temperature storage facilities working to conserve the world’s animal feed plants native to developing countries; conservation of these plants is recognized as a global public good.
