Sc) -- CATIE, Turrialba (Costa Rica), 2013 El presente documento muestra una metodología diseñada para conocer y diagnosticar el territorio, misma que fue adoptada de forma genérica por MIDEPLAN para ser aplicada como insumo al resto de los territorios a nivel nacional. Esta herramienta, mediante conceptos variados como el de Grandes Paisajes, Medios de Vida y Necesidades Humanas Fundamentales logra mostrar una imagen básica territorial, y de sus componentes, partiendo desde las características biofísicas, hasta las poblacionales y de actores locales.
