Understanding the Economics of Climate Adaptation in Trinidad and Tobago

In terms of climate hazards, Trinidad and Tobago will, presumably, undergo higher tropical storm (TS) frequency and the effects derived from them: coastal flooding, wind and rainfall. Additionally the island will likely experience sea level rise and more frequent and intense droughts. In this report, the potential hazards due to climate change are presented, the economic effects of climate change in Trinidad and Tobago are calculated, the actions to mitigate the losses caused by climate change are proposed, and their economic costs and benefits are analyzed.
