Departamento Académico de Recursos Hídricos En el presente trabajo de investigación se evaluó tres láminas de riego con el sistema de riego por goteo en el cultivo de papa (Solanum tuberosum L.) variedad UNICA. El diseño experimental ensayado fue por bloques completamente al azar, se aplicó tres tratamientos con cinco repeticiones en un área de 71.1 m² por cada una de las repeticiones. Los tratamientos aplicados fueron: tratamiento (T1) riego control con un agotamiento de 20 por ciento de humedad disponible del suelo; tratamiento (T2) riego con un índice de estrés hídrico del cultivo (CWSI) de 0.4 y T3 riego con un índice de estrés hídrico del cultivo de 0.7. Para la determinación del índice de estrés hídrico del cultivo (CWSI), se utilizó imágenes térmicas con la cámara FLIR (modelo E-60), los cuales fueron contrastados con mediciones diarias o interdiarias del contenido de humedad del suelo determinado por el método gravimétrico. Estas mediciones nos permitieron calcular las láminas de riego de acuerdo a los tratamientos establecidos. Se aplicó un total de 29 riegos por el tratamiento control (T1), 18 riegos por el tratamiento T2 y 12 riegos por el tratamiento T3. El volumen de agua aplicado, para el tratamiento T1 fue de 2632.48 m³.ha⁻¹, y para los tratamientos T2 y T3 fueron de 1836.41 y 1144.46 m³.ha⁻¹ respectivamente. Estos valores representan un ahorro de agua de 30.24 y 56.52 por ciento respecto a la cantidad de agua empleado por el tratamiento control T1. Los rendimientos obtenidos fueron de 49.53 t.ha⁻¹, 44.30 t.ha⁻¹ y 30.09 t.ha⁻¹ para el tratamiento control T1 y los tomados mediante las cámaras infrarrojas para los tratamientos T2 y T3 respectivamente. In this research work has been evaluated three irrigation sheets with the drip irrigation system in the potato crop (solanum tuberosum L.) UNICA variety. The experimental design rehersed was blocks completely random, three treatment applied with five repetitions in an area of 71.1 m² for each repetition. The treatments applied: treatment (T1) irrigation control with a depletion of 20 percent of available soil moisture; treatment (T2) irrigation with a crop water stress index (CWSI) of 0.4 and T3 irrigation with a crop water stress index of 0.7. The determination of the crop water stress index (CWSI),was for thermal images with the FLIR camera (model E60), which were contrasted with daily or alternative -days measurements of the soil moisture content determined by the gravimetric method. These measurements allowed us to calculate the irrigation sheets according to the established treatments. 29 irrigations had applied for the control treatment (T1), 18 irrigations for the treatment T2 and 12 irrigations for the treatment T3. The volume of water applied for treatment T1 was 2632.48 m³.ha⁻¹, and for treatments T2 and T3 were 1836.41 and 1144.46 m³.ha⁻¹ respectively. These values represent a water saving of 30.24 and 56.52 percent with respect to the amount of water used for the control treatment T1.
