Trasformación química de la materia orgánica en la Ensenada de Tumaco

The present study has as objective to know the process of biochemical oxidation of the organic matter (MO) and nitrification in the waters of the Bay of Tumaco. This process is described by reactions of first order; each kinetic equation that is generated obeys the balance of the parameter that is wanted to model which possesses a kinetic constant (also called reaction velocity, rat or velocity of change). In laboratory tests the constants were determined for two places of the Bay; the obtained values for KDBO were between 0.08 and 0.14 day -1 ; KNH4 0.08-0.14 day KNO2 O. 1 4-0. 30 day -1 and KNO3 0.02-0.07 day -1; presenting correlation with data obtained in the theoretical formulation.

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo conocer el proceso de oxidación bioquímica de la materia orgánica (MO) y nitrificación en las aguas de la Ensenada de Tumaco. Este proceso es descrito por reacciones de primer orden; cada ecuación cinética que se genera obedece al balance del parámetro que se desea modelar y posee una constante cinética (También llamada velocidad de reacción, rata o velocidad de cambio). Mediante ensayos de laboratorio se determinaron las constantes para dos sitios de la Ensenada; los valores encontrados para KDBO estuvieron entre 0.08 y 0.14 día KNN, 0.08-0.14 día -1;KNo2 0.14-0.30 día -1 y KNo3 0.02-0.07 día -1; presentando correlación con los datos obtenidos en la formulación teórica.
