Comparative analysis of radiocesium concentrations in the aquatic ecosystem components of the Azov and Black Sea basin in 2014-2015

Research on cesium-137 concentrations in the water bodies of the Azov-Black Sea basin has been conducted. Comparative analysis of the results for the years 2014-2015 have shown that the specific volume activity of 137Cs in the Azov and Black Sea ecosystem is at the background level, typical of recent years, and agrees with its half-level period. The Chernobyl trace remains the main source of radioactive cesium as before.
