Status of Pontogammarus maeoticus (Sovinskyi) population in the Russian littoral zone of the Azov Sea in 2014-2015
In 2014-2015 the study on the state of pontogammarus population was conducted. The density and biomass of the gammarus, their average length and weight were determined, as well as the percentage of juvenile and mature individuals, including females. These materials show that the state of the population is stable and satisfactory in the Russian littoral zone of the Azov Sea.
