Results of artificial reproduction of the Russian sturgeon in the Azov-Don Region in 2017–2018

At present, artificial reproduction is practically the only source of replenishment of the Sea of Azov with young sturgeon fish species. Research in this area allows to identify problem areas in the reproduction process and find ways to solve them. Analysis of materials and data collected at different stages of the juvenile reproduction process during the studies has shown low efficiency of these activities. Depreciation of production capacities and non-observance of propagation techniques has been the reason of poor artificial rearing of the juvenile sturgeon in the Azov-Don Region in 2017–2018.

В настоящее время искусственное воспроизводство — практически единственный источник пополнения Азовского моря молодью осетровых видов рыб. Исследования в этой области позволяют выявлять проблемные места в процессе воспроизводства и находить пути их решения. Анализ материалов и данных, соб ранных на разных этапах процесса воспроизводства молоди в ходе мониторинговых работ, показали низкую эффективность работы воспроизводственного предприятия. Низкие показатели искусственного воспроизводства молоди русского осетра в Азово-Донском районе в 2017–2018 гг. обусловлены износом производственных мощностей и несоблюдением биотехники выращивания.
