Рост шпрота Финского залива.
The data on sprat growth of commercial stock of the Gulf of Finland are represented. Sexual dimorphism in growth parameters was determined. During the 1970-s the tendency to the increase of maximum length and mass values according to periods of years as well as to the increase of mean length and mass according to age groups in 1972 - 1979 year-classes is observed. Sprat in the Gulf of Finland quickly reaches its maximum length and mass and has well expressed seasonal growth. Seasonal linear growth is satisfactorily described by some Bertalanffy equations.
