The long-term dynamics and the current state of biological indices and commercial stock of chum salmon Oncorhynchus keta (Walbaum) in the basin of Kichiga River

Structural analysis of chum salmon population of the Kichiga River has been carried out on the basis of archive and modern data. The pool of the biological statistic data analyzed allows to conclude that for now the population has passed significant structural transformation, the fraction of the fish of older age groups increased, and average body length decreased, as well as fecundity. The stock abundance of chum salmon in the Kichiga River is increasing.
