Identification of freshwater fishes in some permanent rivers of Kerman Province

The research project of “Identification of Kerman Province Fishes" was carried out from 1996 to 1997. In this study, the fishes of the main rivers of this province, namely: Baft, Soltani, Halil-rood, Delfa-rood, Seyyed-Morteza, Rabor, Roodbar and Halil-kouchak were identified. During one year sampling from above mentioned rivers, a total or 771 samples were collected which they belong to 2 orders, 3 families and 7 species. The identification fishes were: Capoeta damascina, Cyprinion watsoni, Garra persica, Carassius auratus, Cyprinus carpio from CYPRINIDAE family. Nemacheilus sargadensis from COBITIDAE family and Channa gachua from CHANNIDAE family.
