Karyology (Chromosomal Study) of the Caspian Sea Kuturn Roach by White Blood Cells Culture
The karyotype of Rutilus frisii kuturn belonging to the south western basin of the Caspian Sea, was carried out by the method of white blood cells culture. The number of rnetaphasis chromosomes in this fish was determined to b 2n = 50 and the number of chromosomes arms nf=86 This karyotype consists of 8 pairs ot metareintric (m), 10 pairs of submelacentric chromosomes (sm) and 7 pairs of subtelocentric or acrocentric (8m + 15sm + 7st - a).
