Chemical and biological indicators of decline/degradation of brachiaria pastures in the Brazilian Cerrado.

The objective of this present study was to examine the characteristics of the soil and plants in chronosequences of Brachiaria pastures of increasing age and decreasing productivity with a view to identifying chemical and/or biological indicators of the degree of pasture degradation.
