Transcriptional changes in postharvest sugarbeet roots

RNA sequencing was used to profile the transcriptional changes that occur in stored sugarbeet roots when stored at 5 or 12oC for up to 120 days. The effect of storage duration on the sugarbeet transcriptome was determined by sequencing root samples collected at harvest and after 12, 40 or 120 days in storage.
