Maize Drought Microbiome
Soils from across the Kansas precipitation gradient (both agricultural and prairie) were collected and used to inoculate maize genotypes (B73 and Mo17) in a factorial drought experiment. We assessed phenotypic and root microbiome (bacteria and fungi) response of the maize genotypes to drought stress.
