Male and female samples of Amaranthus palmeri (Palmer amaranth) were used to make individual gDNA libraries and sequenced following a RAD-sequencing approach. The overall goal was to identify sequences associated with sex in Amaranthus palmeri and Amaranthus tuberculatus.
