Differential gene expression between S. homoeocarpa drug sensitive and MDR field strains.

RNA-seq was used to determine the mechanisms of multiple-drug resistance (MDR) in field isolates of Sclerotinia homeoeocarpa, the causal agent of dollar spot on turfgrass. Samples from one MDR strain, HRI11, and one drug sensitive strain, HRS10, before and after exposure to propiconazole (0.1 μg ml-1) for 1 h were used for RNA-seq to profile genome wide patterns of differential gene expression when exposed to the fungicide.
