The effect of 2-phenylethanol treatment on Aspergillus flavus transcriptome
To better understand the effect of 2-phenylethanol (2-PE), a major volatile produced by the biocontrol yeast Pichia anomala, on the overall expression of genes associated with growth, development and secondary metabolism, RNA-Seq technology was performed to profile the transcriptome of 2-PE treated Aspergillus flavus cultures grown on NYDB media for various lengths of time.
