Seeds of Discovery - MasAgro Biodiversidad Wheat DArTseq-Derived SNP Data: Beta Recall Results From 2011-2014
More than 40,000 wheat accessions from the CIMMYT Germplasm Bank have been genotyped using the DArTSeq technology. These accessions include hexaploid, tetraploid, and diploid species and many wild relatives of wheat. Genetic diversity analyses using these data can identify selection footprints and relationships between these accessions which will be helpful for using them in breeding pipelines in more strategic ways. <br /> The genotypic data files provided in this study are so large that they cannot be opened in Excel and can only be opened in Flapjack on systems with large amounts of memory available (e.g. 10 GB).
