Effective management to maximise plantation productivity.
The basic principles and functions of management, and how they are adapted in plantation management, are discussed. Major estate management objectives, against which efficiency and productivity can be evaluated, are defined. This paper was presentedat the Lower Perak Branch Seminar entitled Plantation industry in the industrial era: increasing productivity through effective and efficient management, held on 27 July 1995.
