Extent of defoliation by leaf rust and other foliar diseases on S.795 Arabica coffee :
Defoliation induced by other foliar diseases (Brown blight and Brown eye spot) was considerable and highly significant compared to defoliation of rusted leaves on S.795 arabica. Leaves with less number of rust pustules dropped more in number in most of the observations compared to the dropping of leaves having more number of pustules Shedding of leaves with more number of pustules became more from November onwards than the leaves with less number of rust pustules. Dropping of leaves with more number of rust-pustules was for a short duration.
