Embriogenic callus induction from Coffea arabica leaf explants by benzyladenine
Coffea arabica leaf explants cultured on medium with 5 ¿m 6-benzyladenine (BA) as the sole plant growth regulator produced white friable calluses that formed somatic embryos. These calluses have been subcultured on the same medium for more than 2 years and maintain the ability to produce somatic embryos
