Populations designated Iarana, containing the resistance factors SH1, SH2, SH3, SH4 and SH5 individually or in combination were obtained by selection at the Instituto Agronomico, Campinas, Brazil. Promising hybrids with SH and group A resistance factors were also obtained. Some of the populations were derived from C canephora
