Studies on crop outturn relationship with yield and bean size in exotic robusta coffee

Five exotic collection of robusta coffee were assessed for outturn rations at different stages of processing under sun-dry and washed method. Under dry processing, 41.8 percent cherry and 46.7 percent green coffee yield was recorded. By wet-processing, 21.8 percent parchment and 86.6 percent green coffee was obtained. Differences in outturn among the accession were statistically not significant. Correlation test between crop level and outturn, `A' grade bean and outturn and grade `A' beans with yield level were undertaken. Crop level was negatively and significantly correlated with outturn, bean size was positively and significantly correlated with yield level and finally outturn showed positive and significant relationship with yield in two accession (S.1902 & S.1932) only. One accesion (S.1977) did not show any relationship between these parameters. Processing methods did not show consistant and specific effects on outturn
