Thirty to 47 per cent of the soils belongin to four sub-zones have lower soil sulphur levels and are categorised as deficient and usage of sulphur, therefore in these zones is recommended for maintenance of soil sulphur at optimum levels. The correlation between pH and heat soluble sulphur was negative and significant at 1 per cent level.
