Comparaçao de diversos tipos de tulhas sobre a qualidade do café
A comparative study on the influence of several types of storage methods on the quality of raw dried coffee berries, var. Mundo Novo, was undertaken in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Thirteen types of storehouses of equal dimensions, but built from different materials, were used. Coffee samples taken from the storehouses built from bricks and concentrate material showed, that humidity passed through the walls, reaching the stored berries. On the other hand, samples taken from those storehouses, built from wood, metal coated with plastic or asbests, as well as from metallic silos, showed no alterations, but even improved quality
