Influence of lenght of coffee cutting on rooting
Investigations on the propagation of coffee by cuttings were carried out at Central Coffee Research Institute, adopting trench method, using robusta (Coffee canephora Pierre ex. Froehner S. 274) plant material. Single noded cuttings having 10 cm long internodes recorded highest percentage of rooting (77.65 per cent) with good number (5.65) and length (31.38 cm) of primary roots. With increase in length of cuttings percentage of rooting and sprout growth were improved
