Screeing of insecticides for the control of hairy caterpillar (Eupterote canaraica) attacking coffee
Twelve insecticides were screened for the control of hairy caterpillar attacking coffee. Ekalux 25 EC, Metacid 50 EC and Thiodan 35 EC gave hundred per cent kill between 24 and 48 hours after treatment. The same percentage of kill was given by Folithion 1000 and Lebaycid 1000 between 42 and 72 hours, by EPN 45 EC between 72 and 96 hours and by Volaton 50 EC between 120 and 144 hours
