Shade for Arabica coffee in India
Many compiled and popular works generally indicate that judicious shade is the "first essential to the life of the coffee bush". This has been repeatedly supported by reference to the conditions, under which coffee grows in the wild state. Particularly, under Indian conditions, shade is of great importance for arabica coffee to endure adverse climatic, and edaphic factors, and for a physiological balance of the bush which control the normal growth and yield. It is safe to keep in mind that a most important point connected with culture of Indian arabica coffee is "shade"
