Temperatura do ar em cafezal

This paper studies the thermal 1egime of añ inside an unshaded conventional coffee crop. Measmements were made al five levels corresponding lo 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 per cent of mean crop height. Air temperature inside the coffee crop increased with height during nightime and decreased during daytime. Inversions in the gradient occurred bethween 08 to 11 am and 04 to 06 p.m. Extreme mean vertical gradients were 0,2°C/m under inversión condition and 13°C/m under normal gradient. The region in coffee crop with higher heating and cooling occurred bethween 20 per cent to 40 per cent of plants height. Air daily mean temperature inside the crop varied with height, showing a negative gradient of 04*C/m mder 60 per cent of plants heigt and a positive gradient of 05°C/m above that level. Inside the crop, daily air maximum temperature decreascd and minimum temperature increased with height.
