Control of cockchafers in coffee fields with systematic insecticides
Cockchafer control trials in coffee indicated that Thimet and Lindane gave better control than Terracur, Chlordane and Heptachlor. Lindane produced slight phytotoxicity. The best time for treatment appears to be during October 2nd to 3rd week and May-June. 8 month old plants treated with 2 1/2 grams of Thimet granules remained free from cockchafer attack
