The control of couch and other grass weeds in coffee

In order to obtain satisfactory control of Couch grass: 1. Spray only young actively growing grass during the rains or under irrigation; 2. Use the correct quantity of dalapon* (normally 7 lb per sprayed acre of Couch grass) with properly calibrated spray equipment. Do not exceed a concentration of 1 lb in 10 gallons of water; 3. Wait 3-4 weeks then cultivate the soil or spray with "GRAMOXONE"+ after about 2 weeks at 1 pint per acre; 4. Spray any regrowth of Couch grass at 5 lb dalapon* per sprayed acre; 5. Spot spray any isolated patches of new growth in succeeding years to prevent the grass from spreading again; 6.
