Secagem de cacau em piso cimentado
The possibility of sun-drying cacao on concrete floor in the Amazon region was investigated. A 6m X 8m floor costs 8 percent of the recommended construction for drying of the same floor arca. Three lots of cacao dried on the concrete floor for an average of six days to a humidity below 8 percent were classified as Type 1 - Amazonia and Type 2 - Amazonia which shows that it is possible to obtain a satisfactory product at a lower capital cost.
