Estudio ultraestructural de la epidermis foliar de Cajanus indicus L
Scanning electron microscope studies on the foliar epidermis of Cajanus indicus revealed structural details not previously described. The abaxial and adaxial leaf epidermis show a single glandular and linear-cymbiform kind of trichome. Leaves are amphistomatic and have abundant stomata anomocytic type. Ostioles are small and become reduced to the somatic chamber. Venation is camprodromans; the areoles are polygonal-shaped and the deposition of leaf cuticle is irregular.
