Comparacao entre metodos empregados na amostragem de vegetacao, desenvolvida em comunidade de floresta pluvial tropical

The methods applied in vegetation sampling were tested in a Tropical Rain Forest preserved by "Parque Estadual de Carlos Botelho" in Sao Paulo State. The application of non parametric tests did not reveal expressive differences between the Importance Value Index obtained by sample methods and those obtained by the distance methods. However considering the communitie's floristic inventory the statistic analysis showed that the closest individual and the Bitteterlich variable plot radius factor 25 methods revealed less efficiency than the others.
