The desert locust situation in St. Lucia
The paper presents report of the desert locust (Schistocerca gregaria) in St. Lucia and the role of the Ministry of Agriculture in formulating plans to assess and monitor the locust situation, and devise measures to counter the locust threat. Several meetings were held to determine the course of action to be taken against the locusts. (MIBA)
