The desert locust situation in Guayana

The report was received by the Ministry of Agriculture of Guyana on October 19, 1988 from the FAOs Office in Trinidad indicating that the desert locust (Schistorcerca gregaria) had been sighted in Trinidad and 1000-1500 km off French Guiana. The document includes a diagram showing the Atlantic sea coast of Guyana where locusts were found, rainfall, sunshine temperature, relative humidity and cloud cover for the periods 17-27 october and 1-5 november 1988.
