Wood Housing: TREEHOUSING International Wood Design Competition poster

The Wood Housing design is based on the criteria put forth by Danish city-planner Jan Gehl that human-scale is fundamental to architecture and city planning.</p> This poster is one of a selection of entries from the TREEHOUSING International Wood Design Competition that was run by FAO and DBR | Design Build Research School on the occasion of the XIV World Forestry Congress in Durban, South Africa, in September 2015.The competition challenged architecture students, professional architects and des igners to develop innovative and sustainable wood housing and urban building solutions.
