To run the second training of the project 'Multi agent systems, Social sciences and Integrated Natural Resource Management'. The purpose of this project is given in appendix. The objective of this course was to improve knowledge on techniques for developing simulations to help with the exploration and understanding of social and economic issues. The emphasis was on the use of simulation for social sciences. The aim was to provide a rationale for using simulation in social sciences and outline a number of approaches to social simulation at a level of detail that would enable participants to understand the literature.
