[EN] The invention relates to the use of products of the husk of toasted coffee, which, as a result of their particular composition of chlorogenic acid and caffeine, provide an important glucoregulatory and liporegulatory activity, which convert same into an excellent alternative for the prevention and treatment of the metabolic syndrome, given that they are effective simultaneously against the main diseases that form same and the risk factors thereof.
