GO WITH THIS FLOW, NO LESS
When it is part of the equation of needs assessment in hydro projects, the minimum acceptable flow of river water is 1,000 m3 per person per year (equivalent to 30 litres of water per second per 1,000 people) if untreated waste water is to be washed away properly. A lower flow level is acceptable if effluents have been treated first*. * These figures do not take any special features of a water catchment area into account.
