16s rRNA of Honey Bee Midgut and Ileum

We used single cohort-colonies to decouple age and behavioral task in the honey bee, Apis mellifera. We test two hypotheses: (1) honey bees experience differences in the midgut and ileum microbiota that reflect age and behavioral tasks and (2) oxidative damage and gene expression reflect differences between age and behavioral task.
