ASSET Practical Lexicon: An agroecology lexicon in Laos

The overall objective of the ASSET Project is to transform food and agricultural systems in Southeast Asia more sustainable, safer and inclusive, through harnessing the potential of Agroecology. In this context, a joint workshop ASSET-ALiSEA was organized by GRET and CIRAD in Laos the 30th of November 2022. An agroecology lexicon composed of 18 concepts and 261 terms was constructed in the context of this workshop. This lexicon could be used for the knowledge hub associated with the ASSET Project. <br> <b>This dataset contains: </b> <br> - A presentation that summarizes the content of this workshop and the method used to construct these agroecology lexicons<br> - The agroecology theoretical lexicon (TL) with terms validated <br> - The agroecology practical lexicon (PL) co-constructed in Laos <br> <b>Results:</b><br> - Theoretical lexicon (TL): 16 concepts with 331 terms - 138 terms manually validated in the Workshop <br> - Practical lexicon (PL) constructed in Laos: 18 concepts with 157 terms. 107 terms come from the theoretical lexicon. <br>
