Identification of goals and strategies in designing technological change for developing countries
A rather wide variety of topics have been covered in an effort to demonstrate several principles. Overall, the most important factor is recognition that each development situation is different, that the technological change process is primarily a human one, and that development planning should start with a long-term view from which short-term goals or targets are set. Only with a clear vision of what is needed and desirable can development take place
