Tests d'un nouvel appareil de fumigation contre les ravageurs des cultures premiers resultats sur cacaoyer
On IRCC's initiative, a new technique of insecticide treatment based on the principle of fumigation, was developed in the point of view to simplify the control of the mirids of cocoa. The devices work by buring a pyrotechnical mixture which sets free an insecticide fumigant for a limited amount of time. The mode of utilization will precisely be given. The results of the experiments in Togo have been excellent. The obtained decline of efficiency in Cote d'Ivoire were not implicated by this method, but rather tend to show the importance of the meteorological conditions on treatments.
