Etude des sols a vocation cacaoyere en Cote d'Ivoire

This study deals with the following: 1. Pedological observations which include frequent chemical and physical analyses of soil samples. 2. The growth of cocoa trees, by measuring the diameter of the trunk. 3. The estimated production, through enumeration. The first observations suggest that there is an optimum balance between exchangeable bases and nitrogen by a given percentage on the one hand, and between the calcium, magnesium and potassium on the other
