Highlights from the IICA/IDB rural women food producers project

The study refers to the global objective of the IICA/IDB that has been to set the technical bases for policies and actions to improve the lives of rural women as farmers/food producers. Policies pretending bo be gender-neutral are in fact gender-blind, and in general women do not appear to benefit at all from the same policies that are intended to increase agricultural productivity and foster rural development
