Identificación de Mycobacterias en suinos
An indentification of mycobacterias from 207 samples of swine ganglions with granulomatous lesions similar to Tuberculosis was carried out. From 158 isolated strains the 63.9% was M. bovis, the 31.7% M. avium, the 2.5% mycobacterias of the I and IV Runyon Groups and the 1.3% other mycobacterias besides M. avium or M. bovis. The importance of the swine infection by M. bovis, M. avium and other mycobacterias is stood out to be considered for a future bovine Tuberculosis erradication campaign in the Uruguay.
