Assessment of the nutritional value of tropical grasses obtained from conventional analyses and in vitro gas production
Samples of grasses, Panicum maximum (Guinea), Digitaria decumbens (Pangola), Cynodon dactylon (Bermuda), and Panicum maximum var Tanzania (Tanzania) from Northeastern Mexico (Veracruz State) were harvested in triplicate at the beginning of the flowering stage and analyzed through both conventional laboratory and in vitro gas production procedures.
