Historic Centre, Tourism and Urban Mobility: Conceptual analysis
This article seeks to understand the relationship between urban mobility, tourism and historic centres from a theoretical standpoint. Urban mobility and historic centres have become a challenge for public administration, as they are in vogue in the most diverse countries of the world. Therefore, this article aims to understand the relationship between historical heritage, tourism and urban mobility in historic centres by means of a contemporary theory. As regards methodology, this qualitative research is characterised as descriptive, exploratory and also bibliographic with a qualitative analysis. The results show that the relationship between tourism, urban mobility and historic centres represents a challenge for public administration and implies heritage adaptation to the new demands of current society and technology, in a collective effort to make the historic territory accessible.

Este artículo parte de preguntas que buscan comprender la relación entre movilidad urbana, turismo y centros históricos desde los aspectos teóricos. La movilidad urbana y los centros históricos se han convertido en un desafío para los administradores públicos, ya que es un tema en boga en los países más diversos del mundo. Por lo tanto, el objetivo es comprender la relación entre el patrimonio histórico, el turismo y la movilidad urbana en los centros históricos, bajo un sesgo teórico contemporáneo. El aspecto metodológico se caracteriza por ser descriptivo, exploratorio y también bibliográfico con análisis cualitativo. Los resultados muestran que la relación entre el turismo, la movilidad urbana y los centros históricos es un desafío para los administradores, por lo tanto, adaptar el patrimonio a las nuevas demandas de la sociedad y la tecnología contemporánea en un esfuerzo colectivo para transformar el territorio histórico en accesible. Este artigo parte de questionamentos que buscam compreender a relação entre mobilidade urbana, turismo e centros históricos a partir de aspectos teóricos. A temática mobilidade urbana e centros históricos tornou-se um desafio para gestores públicos, pois, é um assunto em voga nos mais diversos países do mundo. Portanto, objetiva-se compreender a relação entre patrimônio histórico, turismo e mobilidade urbana em centros históricos, sob um viés teórico contemporâneo. No aspecto metodológico caracteriza-se como descritiva e exploratória, e também bibliográfica com análise qualitativa. Os resultados apontam que a relação entre turismo, mobilidade urbana e centros históricos é um desafio para gestores, pois, adaptar o patrimônio às novas exigências da sociedade contemporânea e à tecnologia num esforço coletivo que transformem o território histórico em acessível.
